Job Title: Electrician

Location: Lowton, Greater Manchester
Hours: 10 hour days, nights/days
Salary: £20.08/hr approved electrician plus travel time, £18.02/hr electrician plus travel time and company vehicle provided. First 42 hours at base rate Monday to Friday, X1.5 for other 8, Nights X1 1/3, Weekend work up until 12 midday is x 1.5, Sat afternoons at X2 and Sunday x2
Overall Job Purpose: Undertake all AGL and Electrical duties across various projects
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake all Electrical works in accordance with current legislation and agreed scope of works
- Undertake all works in a safe manner whilst adhering to company and industry Health and Safety requirements
- To install LV wiring systems
- To undertake the installation of AGL systems
- Maintain a good knowledge of Health, Safety and Quality Management
Qualifications:
- NVQ 3 Electrical Installation
- AM2
- CSCS
- IPAF
- 18th Edition (BS7671)
- 2391
Experience:
- Working effectively in an Installation Electrician’s role for at least 3 years
- Working in a continuous improvement culture
- Collating and presenting accurate information in a timely manner
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal/external training customers
Skills:
- Experience of installing LV wiring systems
- Experience of installing containment
- Able to communicate effectively with good presentation skills
- Ability to plan and coordinate effectively
Knowledge:
- Clear understanding of the principles of Continuous improvement.
Competencies:
- Self-driven with a positive outlook
- Clear focus on high quality presentation
- Customer focussed
- Effective organiser who critically assesses own performance
- Excellent communicator at all levels
Personal Requirements:
- EU National /Valid work permit
- 5 years continuous employment history is required in order to obtain airside passes
